so this journal is gonna change to an art journal.
because, i never update, and an art journal would be fun.

the first entry should be the cutest turtle in the world that i drew yesterday. i'm hoping to paint it today or tomorow, and then celebrate.

love is in the air.

so, i'm pretty sure i'm in love.

it's all chrome, with a velvet banana seat that has those little balls for trim. i'm hoping to spend all my combined christmas money on this beautiful machine.

i'll ride it every day, and keep it polished up real shiny. and when i die i'll probably get a taxidermist to stuff me so that i am popping an eternal wheelie.

the show went well, i sold some stuff which is exciting.
a fun time was had by most.

i'm generally very uncomfortable with doctors, medicine, and things like that, but i'm real glad they are around when people i care about need them.

yeah.

i'm really bad about self promotion.

ruth, barry and i are having a painting show tonight, it's at the bookbeat from 8 - 11. (6409 S. western i believe) it's called the cupcake parade. it should be pretty cute, and fun. free cupcakes and cornbread shaped like hearts. beer wine and lemonade will be provided.

i'm just about to go up there and hang the show, but if anybody needs more info just give me a call.

i'll do a real update soon.

Sun, Jul. 24th, 2005, 10:15 pm

so i'm skipping knitting tonight because i'm tired and i just got back from edmond

highways and night time and motorcycles are a tiresome combonation, because potholes and cracks in the pavement which are easily visible and avoidable in the daytime are hard to see at night, and require me to hold on really tightly and not let go until i reach flood.

in other news, look how awesome this picture is.

everybody should go to http://www.fudgefactorycomics.com/ it is quite amazing, and you will be happy.

oof.

wooty woo!

i'm back in norman after a week of house sitting. yesterday me and tim and marshal and ryan and amanda went to dallas, and all but ryan left dallas with new and exciting tattoos. mine is real cute and lovely, it still needs some work, but i like it quit tremendously as it is.
i purchased a digital camera the other day, so i can take a picture and post it real soon.
we ate good food on our trip, i like going on trips with other vegetarian/vegans.
i haven't had fast food in a long time, since before summer started, and i plan to continue this.

does anyone know about fixing computer viruses, as i believe i have one that won't let me open my anti virus software.

man, so dogs are cute, soft, friendly, but also alot of trouble. i'm house sitting for my parents, and i've been staying upstairs in my old room, and the dogs can't come upstairs, as there is a baby gate blocking them, but this morning at 6:00 they decided to break down the gate, run upstairs into my room and start playing and jumping all over the place. (note, this was also done last night about an hour after i went to bed.) i think it is mainly just because one of the dogs is scared of storms, and it is rather rainy and thundery.

oh well, i'm coming to norman in a couple hours, and i hope it is still stormy when i'm there. and i get to lay around and really enjoy it.

i'm in edmond house sitting for the week.
i'm house sitting for my parents and they only have a laptop.
laptops have little keyboards and are hard to type on.

i'm rediculously happy.

so the motorcycle works, and feels better than ever, i feel as if it is some sort of crime for me not to be tearing ass on the highway as we speak. i just rolled up to hobby lobby, and it was extremely difficult to drive anywhere near the speed limit. i suppose absence makes the heart grow fonder, because, my my my has my heart grown fond.

and as it turns out, the only problem was shitty spark plugs, so the repair total came to a little less than $4.

so money that was going to be spent on repairs should probably be spent on tattoos.

and as i think that was really the only problem i had. i'm really just amazingly happy and i'm pretty sure i'm in love. or atleast well on my way.

...time to paint.

is there knitting tonight?

Fri, Jun. 17th, 2005, 09:58 am
wooty woooo!

so, today is the beginning of my first part time weekend. and i don't have to go to work again till tuesday. i had to work monday, so, i just had wednesday and today off, but, wednesday was pretty wonderful, it included pancakes, and lots of happieness, some darts, a bit of reading, a fair amount of painting, about 4 hours or so in the art school printing and making a bit of scrilla, i recieved 3 new wonderous paintings, one new print, and an exceptionally high amount of lovin.
and i have pretty high expectations for today. it should include going to the grocery store and buying a bunch of veggies, lunch with kim, painting, reading, darts, hopefully some successfull motorcycle repair, then tonight is mainsite opening, ruths' open studio upstairs, unwed sailor at the oppolis, then wherever the night goes from there i'm sure will be lovely.

now that i have some free time, there should be alot more hanging out with everybody.

to whom this may concern:

so i compromised my plan of quitting a bit. i now work 2 days a week, and have the others to paint, and read, and do odd jobs for people, and see my family, and see ruth, and see everybody, and eat healthy, and be happy.

and i'll still be making about $100 per week, which should cover the bills and groceries, and not make me go broke.

in other, yet related news: camping! (as soon as possible please.)

cancel that shopping spree.

i think i have decided that ipods and cameras can wait for a while.
i need to just quit my job, and enjoy this summer. i have enough money to pay the bills for the next few months. as my dad told me a while back, i have the rest of my life to work, and i have this time to enjoy everything.

so, i think that's the plan, i feel kinda bad for flaking out on hard edge, and i doubt they'll keep hiring me back if i quit a month after i start every time.

but, i seriously stand in one spot for around 6 hours or more per day. and then when i get off work, i'm tired, and don't really have anything interesting to talk about, and then i'm just in a wierd mood.

i just feel like i have to justify this plan so much.

tomorow... action day
friday onward... happy days. perhaps a two week notice, i doubt that will really be nescisarry though.

i think tim will understand. i just hope my boss isn't mad. but, i think she will be more supprised, maybee a little bit dissapointed, and she probably won't hire me again the next time i need a job, but, i doubt that she'll be mad.

Sun, Jun. 5th, 2005, 01:00 pm
i can't take it no more, so i'm going on a shopping spree.

i'm pretty for sure going to get an ipod. because i have earphones in my ears for at least 5 or 6 hours a day. and i'm getting tired of cd players skipping, and having to lug around a bag full of cds. i'm going to get it online with the student discount. and i get free engraving, but i don't know what to get engraved. i was thinking about "i love pancakes" or "mmmmmmmmmmmm lemonade." but i'm not really sure. i get 2 lines with 27 spaces each. i was also thinking of having the first line say puppet show, and the second say spinal tap.

anyone with suggestions should let me know.

i'm also getting a digital camera, a new speedometer and saddle bags for my motorcycle and a plane ticket to portland to see matt and some new tattoos. everything together should cost about 1300 bones. but, i'm working full time, and i shouldn't really have any other expenses for the whole summer.

the ipod and digital camera will probably have to wait for anothe month or so until i get a few more pay checks.

bowling today at 5 or 6ish call me if you want to go.

Tue, May. 31st, 2005, 08:45 pm

it is so amazing outside right now, not too cold, deffinately not hot. rainy in a relaxing calm way. and it is all dusk like. and the sky is colorfull while the slowly moving clouds are grey and fluffy. i'm in love. and happy.

i really hope someone else was just outside to experience this too.

Sun, May. 29th, 2005, 10:58 am
not really an update so much as a questionaire.

so, i'm going to fly out to portland at the end of the summer, but i've never really booked a flight for myself before, does anyone have advice for where a fellow might find cheap tickets, is $305 a good price for a round trip flight?

p.s. is there knitting knitting tonight?
